Wayne Wallace

Wayne Wallace, a local entrepreneur, started Patties and Pastries restaurant on 13th Street & 40th Avenue in Long Island City, New York. The 300 square foot shop was an overwhelming success in popularity but an utter failure in business execution.

With the help of Urban Upbound, Wayne reassessed his business direction and made alliances with the Tropical Jerk Franchise and strategically brought them over to 40th Avenue in Long Island City. Wayne and Sophia Forbes are about to open a located across from Queensbridge Houses.

Wayne has also partnered with the Urban Upbound Merchants Association in efforts to provide food and services at local community events.
